The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires employers to ensure that all their staff receive fire safety awareness training. This course provides employees with essential knowledge about fire safety, helping them understand how to prevent fires occurring and what action to take should a fire break out.

Introduction, Main causes of workplace fires, Fire spread, Fire control methods (active and passive), Stopping fires occurring, Saving lives and minimising danger, Fire fighting equipment (fixed and portable), Fire safety procedures, Fire safety and the law, Role of the fire warden / marshal.

Certification

On completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of attendance, which is valid for 1 year.
